Kelly Harris graduated with honors from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2009, with a Bachelors degree in Athletic Training/Kinesiology. She became a certified athletic trainer in 2009.
She began her career as an athletic trainer and has worked at various high schools as the medical staff as well as in physical therapy clinics doing patient rehabilitation. She has also spent time working as a personal trainer, teaching small group classes as well as 1 on 1 personal training.
Kelly has worked with a variety of personal training clients, from extreme weight loss clients to contenders in body building competitions; from pro athletes to young kids, and everything in between. She enjoys working in a wide array of settings ranging from gyms to the outdoors to the homes of clients.
Kelly loves personal training because she can help her clients make lifelong, healthy changes and she gets to be a part of those remarkable transformations! Her favorite part of personal training is when a client makes a breakthrough and realizes that they are now able to do something that they couldn't do before.
Outside of work, Kelly loves to be active and play sports. She enjoys being outdoors and doing activities like hiking, camping, fishing, surfing, or just spending a lazy day at the beach. Kelly has 2 cattle dogs that keep her busy and keep her working hard on the hills during runs in her neighborhood! She is an accomplished piano player and loves to learn new things and pick up new hobbies (most recently, playing the guitar!) Kelly loves a good challenge and tries to appreciate each day as a gift that she has been blessed with. She wants to help enrich people’s lives and teach them healthy habits that will change their lives. Her philosophy in life is to just keep going, no matter what gets thrown your way, because most of the time, even the bad things are actually little miracles in disguise.

She will help you become a better, more fit version of yourself and will make you love the way you look and feel about yourself! She excels in both weight loss and muscle toning, as well as body building type training, so whatever your needs are, she will meet them!
Kelly’s favorite exercise is a Bowler Squat. Why she loves it? “It’s a great exercise to really target the glutes! It is more of a rotational deadlift that a squat, and can be progressed to make it into a harder, more plyometric type exercise too!”
